Jordan Ferguson | NACSAR Pit Crew Jackman
Former CUSA student-athlete Jordan Ferguson played football at Middle Tennessee while earning undergraduate and graduate degrees (2017-22). He was an All-Conference award winner playing defensive end, 3x permanent team captain for the Blue Raiders, and named to the Allstate/AFCA Good Works Team. After a brief stint with the NFL Seattle Seahawks, Ferguson is looking to make an impact as a NASCAR pit crew jackman.

What is your current job, and what do you enjoy most about it?
NASCAR Pit Crew Jackman and I love jumping in front of race cars.
What’s a professional highlight from your career so far?
Getting my first NFL sack (past) and cup race in Bristol with Shane Van Gisbergen (present).
What was the most valuable lesson you gained from your college sports experience?
Every day is an opportunity to be better than yesterday.
What’s your favorite memory from college athletics?
Winning MVP in the Hawai’I Bowl.
What accomplishment from your college career are you most proud of?
Walking across the stage to get my degree.
How do you spend your free time now? Any new hobbies since college?
Bowling and traveling.
What advice would you give to current student-athletes?
Put your best foot forward every day, believe in yourself, live in the moment and prepare for the future.
How have your career goals evolved from your college years to today?
Transitioning from the NFL to NASCAR taught me how to enjoy the process. Being a part of a pit crew has major similarities to a football team – very competitive and you’re trying to accomplish a goal with the four other guys on your crew.
