FB: Delaware-Jax State Matchup Elevated to ESPN

DALLAS – The week eight Weekday CUSA contest between Delaware and Jacksonville State on Wed., Oct. 15, at AmFirst Stadium has been upgraded from ESPN2 to ESPN, as announced Saturday by Conference USA and ESPN.
 
Kickoff for the game will still be 6 p.m. CT with Clay Matvick (PxP) and Chase Daniel (Analyst) on the call. This will be the first regular-season CUSA game on the flagship channel since WKU and LA Tech faced off on ESPN on Oct. 5, 2023.
 
Wednesday marks the third meeting all-time between the Fightin’ Blue Hens and Gamecocks and just the second since 1978. Delaware has won both meetings, including a 20-14 triumph over Jax State in the 2020 FCS Quarterfinals in Jacksonville.
 
The rest of the upcoming Weekday CUSA slate includes NM State at Liberty at 6 p.m. CT Tuesday on CBS Sports Network, FIU at WKU at 7 p.m. CT Tuesday on ESPNU and UTEP at Sam Houston at 6 p.m. CT Wednesday on CBS Sports Network.
