DALLAS – Following standout performances over the weekend, Missouri State first baseman Brant Kragel and Liberty right-hander Ben Blair earned CUSA weekly honors.
 
CUSA Hitter of the Week – Brant Kragel, Mo State – Sr. – 1B – Castle Rock, Colo.
Kragel secures CUSA Hitter of the Week after delivering in the clutch for the Missouri State (15-7, 5-1 CUSA) offense all weekend long. The senior first baseman hit .625 in the three-game sweep of MTSU with a home run, two doubles, four runs, eight RBI and a 1.250 slugging percentage. He began the series with a game-winning pinch-hit double in the eighth inning on Friday, driving in two runs for a 5-4 lead in the eventual 6-4 win. On Saturday, he went 2-3 with a homer and a career-high three RBI. In the finale, he was 2-4 with three more RBI, hitting a two-run double, then the game-tying knock in the seventh inning.
 
CUSA Pitcher of the Week – Ben Blair, Liberty – Jr. – RHP – Gretna, Va.
Blair claims his third CUSA Pitcher of the Week honor after yet another stellar performance for the Flames (15-8, 3-3 CUSA) on Friday night. The junior flamethrower hurled 7.0 shutout frames against Kennesaw State, giving up just three hits, one walk and striking out eight. It was his fourth straight games with eight or more punchouts, and he continues to lead the league and rank 13^th nationally with a 12.50 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Blair is second in CUSA with 50 strikeouts and boasts the second-lowest ERA in CUSA at 1.53.
